Youth Ministry

Holy Rosary’s youth ministry program serves the Church by leading teens closer to Christ by encouraging vibrant Eucharistic celebrations and opportunities for teens to grow in their faith. Youth ministry should empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic Church, and foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each youth.

CYO

CYO's mission is to develop well rounded youth with positive self esteem and real care for others. What we are about is to help parents raise well-adjusted, morally strong, faith filled children and at the same time to have fun with athletics and athletic development.

CYO is open to all parishioners and students. Holy Rosary offers soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, track and baseball. A CYO board administers the sports programs. Please contact Rick Diedrich, CYO board chairman, for further information.

High School Confirmation

Through the sacrament of Confirmation, Catholics are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. They become true witnesses of Christ, spreading his message by the way in which they live their lives.

Anyone who is 16 years old and baptized may be confirmed. There is a formation process that culminates with the mass of Confirmation, celebrated with either Archbishop Brunett, Bishop Tyson or Bishop Elizondo. Holy Rosary prepares candidates for Confirmation every two years.
