Save the Date...Advent Celebration, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 9:30am-1:00pm, School Hall
All are welcome to our fun and festive Advent Celebration on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the School Hall. Stop by after Mass or anytime between 9:30am-1:00pm for Advent activities and crafts for children and adults, Coffee and Donuts, decorating cookies and more! Come prepare for Advent and celebrate the "Reason for the Season"! For questions, please email Deyette at [email protected] or Sr. Stella at [email protected].On December 8th, 2021, Archbishop Etienne reinstated the general obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation. All Catholics are required to attend Mass on these days.
"The Sunday Eucharist is the foundation and confirmation of all Christian practice. For this reason the faithful are obliged to participate in the Eucharist on days of obligation, unless excused for a serious reason (for example, illness, the care of infants) or dispensed by their own pastor. Those who deliberately fail in this obligation commit a grave sin" (CCC 2181)
Daily masses and Sunday Mass at 10:30 am are livestreamed! If you are incapable to join us in person, please join us virtually.
Prayer for Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
